We run smart, strategic campaigns — campaigns with concrete goals, detailed plans, rigorous training, and above all, a laser-like focus on results. Here are just some of the ways we’re making an impact.

WE’RE DEFENDING OUR CLIMATE PROMISES

We need America to continue to be a leader on reducing emissions linked to climate change. President Trump has indicated that he plans to get rid of protections that reduce carbon emissions from power plants, and has said he will withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement. Impact organizers will be on the ground in states and on college campuses across the country to mobilize businesses, faith leaders and citizens to convince our leaders to keep our climate promises.

WE’RE STOPPING THE OVERUSE OF ANTIBIOTICS ON FACTORY FARMS

We should be using antibiotics to save lives — not to fatten up chickens and pigs on factory farms in ways that breed new “superbugs” that threaten our health. Impact organizers have helped convince McDonald’s, Subway and KFC to stop serving meat raised with the routine use of antibiotics. Now we’re organizing in state legislatures across the country to call for further action.

WE’RE PUSHING AMERICA TO GO 100% RENEWABLE

The effects of climate change are already happening before our eyes. The time is now for America to get on the path to 100% renewable energy. But it’s going to take more than just convincing environmentalists in California or New York to make this vision a reality. That’s why Impact organizers are working in blue, purple and red states, building the grassroots support it’s going to take to push cities, states and campuses to make commitments and plans to go 100% renewable.
